I worked at Canadian Keswick Conference, the summer of 1971. I was sad to have to leave it early; staff had a get-together at the tower lookout, and coming down from the mountain in the dark, I thought I was stepping onto a ledge and it was a drop-off. I tore all the ligaments in my left leg and had a full cast from thigh to toes for six months following my accident, but the HAPPY note is I have FRIENDS still... 40 years later! The signatures on this collage are staff who signed a CKC pillowcase for me as a keepsake on my departure. It's a TREASURE (one I hope Ava will be able to experience for herself someday)!
